Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you want to give back to the community, make new friends, earn community service hours, or enhance your resume, the Mayerson JCC has many volunteer opportunities available year-round. Volunteers are matched with positions that fit their skills and interests.

Volunteer for Donations2Dollars
Volunteer with our new Donations2Dollars program that turns new and gently used donations into funds for the JCC! We need help with customer service, writing eBay ads, preparing items to ship and taking photos. The schedule is flexible -- weekdays, evenings, weekends, or whatever works for you.
Volunteer at the JCC Senior Center
- ShalomPhone: A telephone outreach program for seniors, ages 60 & older. Volunteers make calls twice a week to check on the well-being of elderly and disabled persons who live alone. Be someone's friend and connection to the outside world with a 5 or 10 minute phone call.
- Drivers are needed to deliver meals to homebound seniors (using your own vehicle) on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9am - 10am.
- Data Entry Assistants are needed to keep our client database and paperwork up-to-date. Orientation and lots of gratitude are provided.
- Instructors, Facilitators, Coordinators If you have a skill, interest, talent and time, volunteer to teach a class to senior adults.
Volunteer for Special Events
- We offer special events throughout the year. These one-time commitments are often flexible (in terms of time and activity) and always fun! Let us know if we can call you as opportunities arise.
