For many people born before the 1950’s computers may seem mysterious and intimidating, but the only way by which this generation can remain in touch with their children and grandchildren located far away may be through video chats on computers or smartphones. Come find out all the tricks and tools to be successful using WhatsApp and Skype.

LinkedIn is an online directory of professionals and companies. Individuals and companies use LinkedIn for networking, job searching, hiring, company research, and connecting with affiliates, including alumni, industry, and a variety of other business-related groups. Learn some of the tricks to make LinkedIn work for you.

Fit for Life

This fitness class features exercises that focus on strength and cardio cross-training, as well as balance and range of motion.

Bridge/Mah Jongg Groups

Bring your group for a Senior Meal Deal at the J Café then enjoy an afternoon of Mahj or Bridge. 

Healthy Steps/Lebed Method

Healthy Steps, Moving You to Better Health with the Lebed Method, is a therapeutic program using movement, exercise, and music to help you thrive!

Come play with us! Rummikub is a tile-based game that is a combination of rummy and mahjong. It’s easy to learn and we are happy to teach and new players!

This stimulating discussion group focuses on how to remain active as you age. We’ve had such a great response to our Tuesday group, we’ve added this second group for Mondays!

Yoga for Seniors – Level 2

Tuesdays, 1:30 – 2:30pm
Instructor: Mary Seibert; $3/class

This class will help with your strength, flexibility, and balance through a variety of supported tri yoga flows. Prerequisites: Participants should be able to move easily from seated to standing positions. 

Chess Club

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2 – 6pm

Come join in on a rousing game of chess. Don’t know how to play? Don’t worry, we’ll have friends to teach you. All ages are welcome to participate.

Scrabble Club

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2 – 6pm

Come put your word skills to the test with a fun game of Scrabble! Keep your brain active while making new friends.

Tai Chi

This ongoing Tai Chi program helps with arthritis, balance, and memory. Learn an ancient Yang style short form. Beginners are always welcome.

Wii Bowling

Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11:30am

If you can’t make it to the real lanes, come have fun with virtual bowling. You’ll get moderate exercise with a group of enthusiastic Wii bowlers. No experience? We’ll teach you the lanes!

Multimedia Art

Do you enjoy creating art? Or, do you just want to get started? Bring your own projects and get helpful advice from Rita Wasserman, a retired art teacher and working artist. Bring any art medium you’d like.
